WGF EF02 - Sapozhnikov Strikes Back
"Saltanovka, 30 May 1920: A flight of Polish bombers launched a raid against a Bolshevik airfield located just south of Bryansk. It was the height of the Polish-Soviet War, with the Polish Army occupying the Ukrainian capital Kiev just three weeks earlier. Before the Polish aircraft could reach their target they were intercepted by three Bolshevik fighters, including a Sopwith Snipe flown by former Imperial Russian Air Service officer now Red Army aviator Grigoriy Stepanovich Sapozhnikov, forcing the unescorted bombers to immediately turn for home."
The WGF historical scenario is designed for 3 players (with a solo variant) requiring one Series 2 reprint Sopwith Snipe (Sapozhnikov) and two Series 4 Breguet BR.14B2s (De Greffier & Marseille, Grebil & Carron).
