DownloadsAerial photographic reconnaissance was the only effective method Intelligence Staffs had to obtain detailed information on the enemy fortifications, communications, and troop concentrations. Like many other very import aerial missions, it was very risky. A good reconnaissance job could be ruined because the photographic plates were lost in crash-landing of an obsolete recon aircraft. To be successful, a pilot had to return his ‘crate’ home in more-or-less in one piece!
Can be played either solo or multi-player (2-6); with or without escorts!

Our gaming group played this the other night and probably need to add an amendment. First: When they aircraft was flying over its target to photograph, we initially said the red dot in the center of the card must pass within the circle radius that's under the two-sweater (the firing arcs on the base). But that proved very challenging, so we added that it must pass over the card in straight and level flight. Second: If concerned for the two-seater flying to low and escaping from being shot at by enemy aircraft, add some Ack-Ack to discourage from flying too low |
