I agree. When I came up with this (using a converted hypoxia chart) it was in preparation for the Siemens-Schukerts which, at the time had up to a ceiling of 17 pegs of altitude. I was inspired by my brother who would always hang out at the top of his altitude limit during dog fights, and often thought that due to hypoxia, he would pass out eventually or at least become less effective. You are right though. This would only really happen if you were going after high altitude photo recon Rumplers or a scenario involving peek altitudes. I was also trying to get my brother off his nest to join the fight. Great comment. Thank you Bobit. |
