Spad VII conversion.

The Spad stripped down ready for conversion.


The twin guns are filed off.


The wings and tail are reshaped.



The two new machine guns are made.


With both guns fitted the plane is primed.


After painting the top wing goes back on at its new vertical angle.


Decals are added.


The plane is varnished.



Lt. Howard De Havilland is ready to take to the skies.
