The kit is a basically a three part build with a few small parts to add. This was my first foray into resin kits and I was thankful that there were only 3 parts. I later built the FW 189 and was worried about getting the tail booms aligned correctly. With this kit didn't have to worry about that at all. As you can see from this shot there were no alignment pegs and piano wire was needed to strengthen the wing joints.
The surface was pretty rugged and needed quite a bit of filling as these shot show.
I did spend a great deal of time sanding and eyeballing the progress, but things worked out:
All in all I'm very happy with the G1. It took a little work, but was well worth it.
