Hmmm, it has been FAR too long since I have been active both on the group and here on my blog. I think waiting so long for various items I've ordered or are waiting to order has put my Wings of War/Glory gaming on hold. Still needing some custom hangers made, waiting for that Lend-Lease Operation Gemeinschaft Coin, waiting for the next series to be produced...waiting, waiting, waiting. Please do not take that last sentence the wrong way, I am not blaming Herr Oberst for my waiting on the great ...

06:30 am Karl & me woke up and I asked him for a coffee in the Lobby. With tea, coffee and pastries we’re talking a little bit about the Aerodrome, the WW II Pacific theater and new Wings of Glory projects.

07:20 am Time to say goodbye to Randy, Karl & Glenn and to check out.



07:35 am We were on our way to the United States Air Force Museum near Dayton ...

07:30 am Saturday morning. Same procedure as Thursday and Friday. This time the Coffee Shop is a little bit overcrowded and I organized myself a coffee and two Donuts.



08:15 am The USS Yorktown is ready for the setup. Keith and Eric were discussing how to arrange the gaming surface for this big ship.

07:20 am We went down to the little restaurant and I ordered a Café Latte, a Bagel with egg, ham & Swiss cheese and a Muffin.

The person behind the desk asked for my surname (Sven) and cared for the order.

A few minutes later “Seven” is called to get his breakfast. That’s me.



07:30 am Ken gave us a call and I went with the Bagel & ...

I slept well and ignored the 6 hour time zone difference to the Central European time.



07:00 am woke up in the hotel room with a nice view on the Columbus highways.

07:20 am Keith and Riley picked Randy & me up for the breakfast
