Arms and Armour Press Vintage Warbirds No.2 is a 64pp alphabetical study from the AEG G.IV (but strangely not the C.IV) to the Zeppelin airships, illustrated with 119 B&W photos of the aircraft flown by the Luftstreitkrafte. Generally, each photo has a quite detailed description of the aircraft type, the individual aircraft in the picture and comments on markings, capability and/or action in which it was involved. While many of the photos and their subjects are commonly reproduced in other publications, there are also some rare or unusual examples such as the Euler C.I and the Rumpler G.III. Published in the 1980s, the Vintage Warbirds series still turns up at book exchanges for not a lot more than the original cover price of £4.95, which makes it quite a bargain for what you get.
