Hi everybody! These are my first ever Bi-planes. I attempted the Jasta 13 paint scheme from the card. My airbrush does not make lines small enough. I guess I need a new one!

I am debating putting a black and white checker pattern or a red stripe behind the pilot of one ship, to designate a leader. I will add pilots at some point as well. :D Kampfleiger one piece models...

Very nice mate, the paint looks quite smooth!
I would definitely add something to two of the aircraft to differentiate between them; a colour stripe around the fuselage, something on the fuselage sides? I am not sure, but I think the tyres need to be dark grey too. Not being picky mate, they look great!

That certainly makes an interesting colour scheme Corby. Makes a nice change from the usual cammo models.

Such well-painted models deserve good decals. Would you like some?

Some basic crosses and a few individual markings - see the Jasta 13 D.VII at the back of this photo:

Maybe add some markings in black, similar quality to these, for Jasta 18:

Cool guys! Thanks for all the comments! That is why I like this forum so much! Everyone is SO helpful! Zoe, do you print out the decals on a printer and cut them out? How do you affix them to the plane?

I bookmarked Doms decals, I was wondering where to get the proper German crosses! ;)

 Yes very nice work Corby. Good to see some different colour schemes on the Hun Aircraft.
Incidentally Zoe makes some great Decals & they work just like regular water soluable ones.;)

Really gorgeous paintjob on the wings; what's with the tiny crosses?

Zoe, do you print out the decals on a printer and cut them out? How do you affix them to the plane?

You can get special decal paper, for either laser or inkjet (they need different types). The decal paper can be white, or clear. Most printers can't print white, so I find the white paper most useful.

You print the image on the paper, then coat with a special clear acryllic spray after it's dry. Then they're just like any other decal.

Dom's decals are the very best in quality, by the way, and I'd recommend them highly. My strength is not so much quality of the image - though it's not bad - but versatility. Dom does industrial-quantity decals, really well researched, and of the highest quality. I do one-offs, on demand, mainly for myself but for anyone else who needs them.

Yes, thanks for pointing that out. I will paint them gray. I realized I missed a few spots once I posted these pix.

The hack must have erased some of the pictures I had uploaded. There were only two left when I checked, go figure. Anyway, here are some pictures of three Fokker DVII KampFFlieger models in WSF. Now with decals!

I still need to finish the underside of each plane, and detail the wheels.
