Hers my stab at a Kampfflieger Shapeways WSF Halberstadt D.II:

I used Humbrol 65 Aircraft Blue for the top coat finishing with Doms decals & a Peter Pig pilot

Included this picture on the thread to show the different lighting effect of the flash.
(the cameras not me!) This is nearer what it looks like to me.

I was dubious about the colour when I put it on & not sure it's accurate but I'm actually quite pleased with the end result.

Nice , I kinda wish I could have used shapeways for mine [ used skytrex they are good but had put together probs] Shapeways was not making Hab's when I did mine . Check out my album.

:thumbsup: Nice work Dave! I really like the Halberstadts. The D.II is a good aircraft on the games table even better if you swap the P & G decks as the Eindeker does NOT deserve the sideslip. It should have gone to the DH-2's & Halberstadts on Historical records!.:confused::hmm:

That's a lovely model, flash! The monochrome scheme really enhances the Halberstadt's graceful shape.
