Submitted for your enjoyment: I have finally finished off the last of my Christmas presents !
Using a 'Shapeways' 'Kampfflieger' Albatros D.II here is my take of Obltn Kurt Students Jasta 9 kite based on a colour plate in Ospreys Albatros Aces of WW1 - Pt2 & some spurious images from t'internet.

The only minor hitch I found was that I had to move the fuselage crosses further forward than perhaps they should be as they were a little larger than I needed & just didn't look right where they should be. That being said I'm pretty happy with the outcome even if the underside looks like a blue emery board !
Paints used were old GW paints in the main on topsides & strut; the underside is Vallejo. National markings by Dom & pilot by Peter Pig.
