Where is my "Rain of Destruction Box" and the Me 110 mini?

Great Picture!

Just one thought to the bailed out pilot.

Didn't they roll the plane headlong to bail out?

Great artwork!
1. I think Sven may be right (otherwise there must be another plane "above" the picture which the pilot has just bailed out from:)).
2. Sorry for that, but: swastika is missing:confused: I know it's a political issue, but art is an art, there should be no politics in that. I wonder what you guys think of that.

Above all: the picture is fantastic.

I agree with Andrzej - art is art, if people can't see the difference it's their problem.
I don't agree with Andrzej - he might have banked the plane so that he wouldn't be hit by the tail wings when he left the plane. I read some accounts when that happened in WW2.
I agree with Andrzej - beautiful artwork.
I don't agree with... :) :) :)

Fabulous Picture!

The question of the Swastika is a political matter for the German people to determine.

We have something similar in the US concerning the display of the Confederate flag from the American Civil War.
There are laws in some states generally forbidding the display of the flag on Public buildings.

The display has become "politically incorrect" and individuals who fly the flag often come under pressure from groups and other individuals to remove the flag.

I am absolutely against the use of the Swastika for political reasons. I am against Nazism and other forms of hate statements. But, I am also against the erase of images and parts of History for political reasons. It existed. It happened. The use of images for art and historical accuracy is logic and shouldn't be erased. My two cents.

Disclaimer: I'm not trying to start any political issue.

Roen:

I think that nobody was criticising you or your excellent work. Just the "political correctness" that permeates everything these days. I'm a teacher and giving some classes to old people (that I come to love, respect and befriend) I was approached by the director of the school telling me that I shouldn't call them old men and women, but elder or senior. I laughed in his face and told him that they call themselves old farts and mummies and that my friendship or respect wouldn't change just by changing the epithet.

Oh Yes i know mate but when people ask you to make a picture with out Swastika you have to do it :P

I will give you an example... here to WOF i know a lot of guys and i know they dont have problem about my aviation art but i get my self banned to another forum because i made a picture with a captured SPAD13 that had the Swastika on.
Forum Guests start arguing and the Moderatos banned me lol? :P
Anyway i will place Swastika to the next one....I am making A Ju-87 stuka Diving .

You're quite right on that.
It's sad when people don't use their heads.
I look forward to see the Stuka.

How about a papermodel ?

I built this one in 1/72 scale.

A few years ago, this Bf110 was built in 1/72 scale to see if it could be done in 1/144 scale.
At the time, I thought that it would be too hard.
But after building 1/144 scale WW I planes, I may try building the Bf110 in 1/144 scale.
This card model by Hairston Aviation has three variants.

I tried to build one bomber in 1/200 scale and it was hard... But I'll try it again in the future.

Great Art! I honestly would love to see more WWII stuff rOEN...
Re. the swastika... What's the big deal about an icon or any image for that matter? I'm Israeli and to be honest, I see more offence in the sign of the cross... More people were butchered and tortured by Christians (Catholic?) than anyone else in history. That could also go for the hammer and sickle, the red star of communist china, crescent moon and even the star of David (hexagram?) for all the killing done under these respective symbols!
History is history and art is art and let's learn from history and enjoy art.
