Just received my order from Shapeways. Purchased a Caudron G4 and and Alb DII.
Both models were in great shape. Very minor droop to the Caudron wings. Took about 5 min to straighten. Now just need the weekend to arrive so I can get to work on their paint schemes.

And when they are done, you can bring them to Wings of War game night on Friday at the Family Game Store in Savage Mill, just north of Laurel. Now that the inter-county connector is opened it will take half the time to get there.

Can you take some good photos before you paint them and post them here, please?

Thanks.

I'll get some photos before I prime them. Just have to find the camera.
Savage Mill is closer now that the ICC is open. December is a little busy but I'll keep watch for games after the first of the year.

Cool, next year it is. I look forward to comparing the Shapeways G.4 to my scratch-built G.4. It would be neat to have them fly a mission together! And now... I have three planes awaiting paint! Gotta run!

I finally found a camera to use.
Here are some photos of my new Caudron G4 and Alb DII
Sorry about the quality of the images.
The wingtips on the Caudron are not warped just an illusion.

I like the look of that Caudron Guyla, and that is one I can't get from Reviresco or Skytrex. I may have to make a leap of faith myself one of these days.

Its a great looking model. Once I get it painted I'll post some pics of that as well.
I'll pick up another after the Holidays, along with a pair of Central powers bombers.

Finally realized I would need "Flight of the Giants" to use my bombers.
Could not find it anywhere, so I checked through the forums.
Found one listing Cotton Jim's flags as having them. Sure enough he still did.
Ordered it on the Dec. 12th. arrived this afternoon. Thanks Cotton Jim.
Now I can get my Bombers off the ground when I finish painting them.

Yes they look very good Gyula. It amazes me how you can get such consistant lines over the rough surfaces.

Very good job, I do like these early planes.
I must get on with my Caudron.
Too many planes not enough time.

Nice!

If you aren't doing anything two weeks from today, bring them to the Family Game Store in Savage Mill for our monthly game!
