Most of us are aware that only about 5% of pilots were aces and the other 95% were targets.
Thus, it is unrealistic for everyone in a game to be an Ace.

This Scenario is an attempt to provide an opportunity for one or two players to become an Ace in a Day. It has not been playtested and will need to be adjusted after playtesting.

1. Depending on the number of players, there are about twice as many Germans as British.

2. It is expected that at least one German will shoot down five British planes during the day and become an Ace (without being shot down himself).

3. The last player who shoots at a plane which is then destroyed gets credit for the kill.

4. A plane which is damaged may return to its home aerodrome, sit out one turn, and return with no damage.

5. When a German is shot down, he returns as British the next turn and replaces the British pilot who shot him down. The British pilot who got the kill then takes off from the German Aerodrome and returns to the battle in a German plane with no damage.

6. The Explosion cards are removed from the damage decks before play begins.

7. A pilot with five kills has an Ace special ability until he is killed. A pilot with ten kills has two Ace special abilities until he is killed. Etc.

8. An Ace may play as a non-Ace and save his Ace status for an importhat game. It is recommended that you play as a non-Ace in games using the explosion card.

9. As soon as the British pilots see that a German plane is damaged they should all concentrate on it in the hope that one of them will shoot it down, get credit for the kill, and return as a German.

10. Pilots should keep a flight log so they can document what planes they shot down and the names of the pilots flying the planes. Dates and times should also be included.

Please let me know about the results of playing this scenario.
Also any suggestions for changes would be helpful.

Sounds like a bit of real fun, and a way to get in a full days gaming without too much terminal pain.
