Do you use the Event Calendar here on the site?

Just wondering how many of you guys actually use the Event Calendars here on the site?

I added an event one time, but I'm afraid Czech pilots have their low interest period. May be autumn weather...
Is it possible to make a share calendar for Europe (for example)? I plan to visit Liverpool next year and visit of event should be cool :)

I use the Calendar when I remember it... and always have good intentions when I do not. Perhaps a more prominent image style link might draw more attention to it?

I have not used it, only found out about it a short time ago also there is an error on Canadian calendar . Nov 11 is a Friday not Wed as the calander says

I'm trying to determine if the use out weighs the time involved in creating all of the different calendars and setting the permissions.

As for the Canada calendar being wrong, this is what I see....

I think it is a usefull tool, but under-used. Of course I only see the US version.

Not sure how many calendars you have... but it seems that you would reallly only need 3. One for North and South America. One for the UK. and One for everyone else...

In Italy Wing I added some events at the beginning. But I think Italian wingmen doesn't use it.

We don't have so many event during the year and the main channel to comunicate them is a thread/post.

Each Wing/Country has it's own calendar, but very few seem to use it.

I've used it and posted events on it, like Historicon 2011. But beyond that I never remember to check it.

I have used it in the past, but have to admit that it isnt something I check.

When I remember I check it ,but I do not use it myself I use wargames to raise funds for the Royal British Legion and have used land based wargaming systems but this past year we have been invited to a lot of schools ,so was looking at using WOG next year at some venues, so maybe next year I will start using the calendar then if its still in use.

The calendars on this site will stay up and functional... not since in tearing them down since all the work is already done. This thread was more for me to get info for making the decision on using them at the Anchorage site.
