Wonder, if we'll see a Wings of Glory Version of "Rain of Destruction".

It was one of those must-have-expansions...:hmm:

I'm sure we'll see it. They seem to be keeping with were Nexus left off. Makes sense as the prototypes and maybe even molds were already made. Lots of us are looking forward to WGS-RoD for sure!

NEXUS did show pics of a ME110 and a B-25. Hope to seem them from ARES.

The BF 110 would be fine. (especially a miniature)

Bf 110 C-4 (1940/1941) four 7,92-mm-MG 17 and two 20-mm-MG FF/M in the front, one 7,92-mm-MG 15 rear gun.

ARES made no mention on the new site, we should be patient for just a little longer!

As good as the mimis will be, we need the rules, and the decks to even start flying 2-engine and 4-engine bombers.

I'm not nearly so confident. I'm sure we'll get the miniatures, but there have been no plans to release boxed sets other than the "starters". This is the set I most wanted, and since I don't buy the minis, I'm now despairing that I'll ever get it. If I had been in on the minis from the start I wouldn't mind, I'd just get these as minis, but I really loved the boxed sets and card expansions, too bad there's not much sentiment on here to keep them going. Most of the hard-core people on here are minis players and are far more interested in upcoming miniature releases.

Looking at the WWI side of the house, we are getting a revised Flight of Giants for the slight rule teaks... and that is a card only expansion. I'm sure Rain will be the same way.

I tend to agree with Oberst, and don't worry Seth, there's still a number of us card'o'holics around... I assume you've seen my albums?

I prefer miniatures too, but I'am glad to own Flight of the Gianst.

Played a few missons only with cards and it was fun.

I hope, Ares brings the Rain of Destruction box soon.

Need time to exercise with the cards before B24 and He 111 hit the shops.

I'm really hoping that ROD will see the light of day at some point. I've been holding off doing customised cards for the larger planes for now as I would prefer to see the official rules and manuever decks for the "big birds" first so that I can design the cards accordingly. There are dozens of larger planes I would love to do cards for. Luckily there are many more of the smaller planes to do first so there's more than enough to keep me busy in the meantime.
