Mr. Surfacer on Shapeways

Has anyone ever used Mr. Surfacer on Shapeways models before? The planes always seem a bit rough and if it were my plane I would try to smooth it down the best I could. I know Mr. Surfacer does a great job on filling in seams so I was wondering if anyone has had experience with this or something similar. :D

I never heard of Mr. Surfacer but this website has a good description of the product.
