We are talking about Czech and Polish pilots in RAF. I found two colorful from the Czech airfield life. I think it was from some Czech documents, but there are not the commentary, just music. Enjoy it!

Just a little, but for me an important comment. It is a common mistake, made by many people, when referring to our history, including some members of the Aerodrome. The denomination "Czechoslovak(ian)" was oftened shortened to "Czech.", as is seen in the first video.

There were no "Czech" RAF members at that time. Only "Czechoslovak" or "Czechoslovakian" ones. The two countries are now separate, but we used to be one country and soldiers from both parts of Czechoslovakia fought in WWII under the flag now used by the Czech Republic.

Czechoslovakia (or the Czechoslovakian Republic) existed since 28th October 1918 till 14th March 1939, when Slovakia declared independence (it actually became a vasal state of the Third Reich), then again, after WWII, since 9th May 1945 till 31st December 1992. On 1st January 1993 we separated again and probably for good now.
