Personally, I think it is a mistake to delete old threads as they represent an archive of ideas and opinions at that time. By deleting them, you delete all continuity of anything that was going at the time. I have not been on for some time due to other activities only to come back and find .... nothing.

I guess you have already deleted them. FWiW, I would never delete old threads unless there is some space issue to deal with.
