I am pleased to announce the latest addition to the Aerodrome Accessories line of gaming aides, the Damage Deck Caddy!

http://www.wingsofwar.org/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=20454&d=1313437401

The Caddy will keep your gaming table nice and organized. It has easy to access slots for all for damage deck types. Not using all four decks in your games, no problem. The slots in the Caddy double nicely to hold flame and smoke markers as well as other small tokens and game aides.

The the Caddy, it's now easier than ever to move your damage cards out of the way when the aerial action flies their way!

Order yours today (http://www.aerodromeaccessories.com/index.php/aides-accessories/damage-deck-caddy.html)!

By the way, looking at your pictures: do you play with marked cards? ;)

I don't have any sleeves to test with, but the card slots are 50mm x 75mm, so I think they should.

The footprint of mine is 165mm x 118mm

I can tell you that a few of us got to try one out at Origins, and that they are fantastic. I would say worth more than what Keith is charging! Now if only he could design one that auto-shuffles the cards and serves drinks to the players! ;)

I just use a watch your back Box that I labeled the spaces.

Yes, the back of my cards are marked (stamped with a black star). I have had to do this because we mix decks to make larger decks or even with other player's decks sometimes. Some of my games get really big. lol

Very cool, I love the hanger design with the aircraft along the sides, very classy. It looks like the decks are tilted on the cross brace of the dividers - it kind of looks like they don't fit but I might be missing a clever design point here? Also any idea how will it handle 4 A decks combined together?

That looks great just like an aerodrome. Good Job to the guys.

It's a clever design point:

As you can see in that photo, there are two hump pieces that lift the inside edge of all four decks. This slight angle does a couple of things. Most importantly it makes it easier to draw the cards out. It also makes the cards sit flush against the large wall to keep them neater then if they were just "floating" in there.

In the photo below, you can see these humps better and you can also see the circle holes in the bottom... these make it easy to take out the decks if needed by simply pushing them up with your finger from the bottom.

I've not tried stacking 4 A decks in this, but I know there is plenty of room for a Double A, and I'm almost certain that 3 will fit.

When we tried it at Origins we had a sleeved Double A Deck and a sleeved B deck in it. It worked like a charm! ;)

Thanks, but I can't claim the design or engineering of it.

Good to know, on my table we did not have sleeved cards to test it with.

Any idea when these will be back in stock? Damn but I missed the first go-around...

Oberst Hajj

I might have a couple in this next shipment that is going to show up this week (or Monday). If not, then it will most likely be two weeks before I have them back in.

Oh, I do have a very limited number of what I am going to call "Smoke Edition", but they are not on the site just yet. These will be a limited edition item, once they are gone, they will be gone forever.

Just added both the standard Damage Caddy and the Limited Edition Smoke version to the site.

That smoked version is really smart Keith. You could say smokin in fact.

Ok, going to show my limited knowledge of model building here. I received the smoke version -- what kind of adhesive do I use to put it together? I tried the Testors stuff in the lozenge-shaped bottle with the precision tip, but it was a no-go; the bottle did say ABS or polystyrene, neither of which is acrylic I suppose...

Cheers!

You need plastic weld James. Used to be Tensol Cement, based on chloroform with acrylic disolved in it, but you can now get it as a proprietary
preperation. You might try this contact. http://www.rmplastics.net/Acrylic%20Glue%20and%20Cement.htm

I just used clear wood glue (PVA) and that has worked fine. Another thing the caddy does, is to help reduce the clutter on the table, with the "advanced cockpit" I find there is more room on the table

Oberst Hajj

You can also use regular old superglue... some call it CA glue.

The deck caddy is very cool. I just used a little wood glue on the two big side wall connections and on the handle and it's very solid now. Played WOW yesterday but did not have the caddy ready yet.
