:salute: G'day All!
With all the discussion on Shapeways product I thought I would post some pics on the Triplane after undercoating & painting.
Still waiting for the Rondel Decals & I have a clear plastic disc to add for the Prop.
I just used the GW white spray undercoat, Vigelleo paint for the PC10 & GWs Bleached Bone for the CDL plus Snakebite Leather for struts & cockpit. The decals have been covered with GW Matt varnish & the Engine Cowling done with Gloss Varnish. Incidently the PC 10 is actually the same colour I used on the McCudden SE5a Repaint but these pics were taken on a dull day & the colour looks much darker than it actually is.
Still have to get a pilot as well.;)

Kevin --FUD stands for frosted ulta detail. Its one of the material options offered by Shapeways. It kind of looks like frosted glass.

;) Frosted Ultra Detail! Worth the extra cost in my opinion.
The best thing about Shapeways is they come fully assembled. The 3D process is quite amazing. No fiddly struts to play with & in a Triplane that is a real PLUS!:thumbsup:

That looks really nice. Makes a big difference to have decent product under the paint.
