:salute: G'day Chaps!
While you are waitingto see if anything WW2 comes from Nexus you might like to browse F-Toys on Ebay. There are just LOADS of both early & late WW2 models available. Prices are from about $12 US & there are British, German, US & Jap Aircraft inc Bombers, Fighters & Carrier Aircraft etc. Definately worth a look!

The WWII F-Toys are 1/144th scale correct?

WWII F-Toys are 144. They also did three each of SPAD VII and Albatros III in 144.
They also make a line of much cheaper variable scale planes of all eras packaged in "choco eggs."
There's a question -- who makes the "_WoW_-specific" minis? And could they not be retasked to serve the mini-collector community as well as the gamer?
How would you mount these on the pegs? I've seen some of these and they're great!

They are! I mount mine on a a small machine screw with an Allen key slot; it's easy to glue the ball bearing into this, while the 1/8" ring magnet fits exactly on a Litko base peg.19619
For standard WoW pegs you could mount the screw upside down, or drill out the fuselage and glue in a pin cut from a plastic toothpick or similar.

It's that way right now. Currently, I have about 165+ WWII aircraft, all modified to fit on the WWI Wings of War stands. This pic is about 3 years old, maybe more?

What I did was to buy a package of 2mm styrene, which is a round plastic rod. You get 6-8 in the package, and each rod is about 10 inches long. I found them in a local hobbystore here for about $3-$4 a package. If you use the material wisely, the styrene should be enough to convert about 100-120 planes.
I had to fiddle around on this one, but I figured out that a 5/64ths drill bit was what I needed to drill in a little hole on the underside of any plane I wanted to modify. If you're reading this, don't just go on the numbers I'm stating here. Check for yourself before buying anything, but the drill bit was only about $4-$5.
Glue in the styrene, cut to the length you want, and presto, you're set. I paint the styrene post to match the underside of the plane as well. I build my planes in wheels down mode, just because I like them that way, but the posts don't interfere with the planes sitting on their undercarriage. This pic is from one of my old Flames of War P-40Es (the F-Toys P-40's blew these away and had undercarriage, so I retired these), but you can see the underside post.

Then the planes fit right on the WWI stands.

There are a lot of companies that make 1/144 scale WWII planes, well... enough anyway. 21st Century went out of business, but F-Toys seems to be doing OK. Cafe Reo has some nice planes too. Here's a pair of those F-Toys Spad VIIs.

Zvezda is doing a miniature WWII wargame that has 1/144 scale airplanes. I've seen them on CoolStuff for $2.99 USD! They have a Stuka, Me-109E or G, can't remember which, an Il-2 and a LaGG-3 right now. Paint and build yourself. the building is pretty easy on these too.
Minicraft has been rereleasing it's 1/144 scale kits as of late too, some nice ones there if you are able to build and paint yourself.
Sweet, Platz and at least one other Japanese companies make some damn good 1/144 scale kits.
E-Bay is a great place to look. I have had nothing but great experiences buying on E-Bay. My best deal was three B-17Fs, all in the "special paint scheme" of the Memphis Belle, for about $4 bucks each! Delivered to my front door for less that $20 USD!
There is a buy-it-now section, so I'm not talking the auction area either. I was a little reluctant to try buying from E-Bay at first, but Roger_Wlico from the old FFG site got me to try it, and I'm so glad I finally did.
Recently, I got 4 pairs of P-40Es from E-Bay, 2 Aleutian Tigers, 2 Flying Tigers, 2 Aussie P-40Es, and 2 of the British Western Desert Air Force P-40Es, the ones who started the sharkmouth scheme. Average price was $9.50 a plane with shipping included, except the Aussie ones, which were $14.50 with shipping.
But E-Bay is a pretty good place to look for, and find 1/144 scale planes.
So, are you using a pin vice to drill the holes? I am familiar with pinning metal and plastic models. I would normally use a small section of a paper clip. Does the plastic model glue work on these planes?
It's that way right now.
I know -- I have more than few F-Toys, etc., myself.
I was coming at it from the other direction, tho'. Find out who actually makes the minis for _WoW_ -- the castings, the paint, etc. -- and market the minis to the collectors as well as the gamers. If one is a collector, one gets a nice mini, with some cards and maybe a rules sheet which he won't be using; if one is a gamer, one gets the total package (pardon the pun) of mini, cards, etc. By going to collectors as well as gamers, one has the chance at revenue one didn't have before.
Yes, I'm a Businesscriminal -- why do you ask? :)

No, I just put in the drill bit into my drill, and put in a small hole, then glue in the styrene. Let it set, then clip the post to length, trim it a bit and paint it.

Hmm, interesting idea. I think the post on the planes would not be welcomed by most collectors, and I think it is part of the metal part of the plane. But if they marketed it as a display stand, and included one, long solid "peg" to set the plane on for display purposes, I could see it.
That could've worked too on the WWII stuff, had they kept the 1/144 scale.
Today i received both F-Toys SPAD VII. This are really really nice models :)
I know the french SPAD VII is Guynemer but who flys the british SPAD VII? It's from No 23 Squadron has an 8 on the fuselage and B.6772 on the rudder.
How do you buy this model?in italy there aren't

Collector's are the reason you pay $80 for a mini.
