Ladies and Gentlemen!

I am running a series of 1941 scenarios in Wiliamsburg Virginia next month! Which of the list below would you like to play!

1: Barbarossa. Air battles over the Russian front! The Germans and Russians go at it! Fighter Vs Fighter with bomber missions!

2: North Africa. Air battles over the desert! The British against the Germans and Italians! Fighter vs Bombers and fighter escorts!

3: China. Japanese bombing missions over China! Fighters vs escorted bombers!

4: Malta The air defense of Malta! Lots of Germans and Italians
attack a small British force! Bombers and escorts against fighters!

5: Raids over France! British fighters run fighter sweeps over occupied France! Fighter Vs Fighter!

I need to trim it down to three options!

I like the sound of two, three, and five. I don't have much DoW experience but those three had more "pull" for me.

Richard,
If I was there I would like to play number's 1, 2 and 5.
THe Malta and China scenarios are too focussed to be appealing to me.

I like 2, 3 & 1 in that order. I think it depends on the minatures you have. It's all about the eye candy and wow factor at cons.

2. a battle over a desert backdrop would look great.
3. fighting in the skies over a winter battlefield.
1. a flying tiger scenario would be a great draw - name recognition.

2. 1 and 5 (although if it were WWI I would be there like a shot!)

Rich,

2,3, and 5 would be my votes. I wish I lived closer, I would definitely join in.

Rich, one of the biggest things we learned at Origins was that straight up dogfights don't draw the crowds near as much as a scenario does. Give your games good names and an exciting description. Those two things will get them over to your table to check out the eye candy.

Keith!
I agree Keith. Straight fighter to fighter battles are great as for new players, but lack something. The games will using the same mission but using different aircraft according to the front. They will be bomber escort missions against a fighter defense! Bomber missions normally have the benefit of moving fast.

Stuart!

If WW2 is not you cup of tea there will be a running WOW game that starts at 6pm Friday and runs all day Saturday! That is being run by Earlq another forum member!

Sounds tempting but $3.50 a gallon plus the $40 cost of entry for me and the Nemesis means it's a non starter this year:crash:

Stuart!

You do not have to tell me about the fuel cost. I just was up to Ohio. The good news depending on you mileage you could probably make it down here and back on a tank. That Nemesis should treat you to the convention, especially if she is going to shoot you down!

Stuart!

Great how could she miss the chance for some more kills! I had message from the Con organizer they have around 110 games scheduled! That includes WOW , DOW, and at least two other WWI games by the last list i saw.
