The Imperial Air Service revered it's recent string of defeats in this sector today in a sharp action which sent one British scout spinning earthward in flames while another limped home severely damaged.

My Nemesis in the LFG Roland and her squadron mate flying the Werner Voss Dr I engaged our flight of two Sopwith camels on the German side of the lines with typically aggressive tactics; I was able to maneuver into the Roland's blind spot and score sever hits before diving away and avoiding any return fire, while Lt. Adam engaged the Dr I which came at him head on. Both machines too damage but Adam seemed to come of worst and pulled away trailing smoke. I veered away from the Roland and attacked the triplane only to draw an explosion card! My comrade took additional damage from the Roland and turned for home, his engine faltering. Thankfully he still had enough speed to disengage and return to base, denying the triplane it's fourth victory in as many weeks.

Thanks for your report. It seems to be black June in your sector of the front Stuart. Give your pilots a bit of R&R. in the Mess old chap.:drinks::singin::drunk:

Is it me, or does that last photo of German Fokker look like it's firing a laser at the Brit?! Perhaps it's secretly a Tie-Fighter in disguise ;)

Well spotted Keegan! So that is how the Central Powers are being so sucessful. A Laser synchronised to the prop.
