I would also like to thank Alan for his input on the emoticons. This will be far more satisfying than using the non generic ones. it also adds more to the variety of emotions that we can express. Well done that man.:salute:

That should not be an issue as I changed the names of the smileys and the files they point to... unless you have a very strict filter.

Oberst Hajj
06-30-2011, 21:28
It appears to be an IE7 (maybe IE8 as well) issue. I can't for the life of me figure out what is causing it. They are both simple PNG files, just like all the other smiles. They are all in the same folders as well. It is also not a forums software issue, as IE7 will not display it out side of the forums either. Very odd.

I have the same problem with embarass and crash, although slysmile is O.K. for me. The Oberst and my techie at this end have both looked at the problem and not found the reason. I am just putting it down to the Gremlins in the computer.:embarass:

Mine also. It must be a function of something at our end, as the Oberst has looked into it before at his end. It seems that we can use it ,however, as other pilots can see it.:waf:

You have to go advanced or just type the code in if you know it.
