Southcon wargaming convention

The Otago Miniature Tacticians Society is once again holding it's annual convention this Queens birthday weekend right here in Dunedin. They will be various competitions and a large Wings of War battle on Saturday evening all welcome.
Will try to get photos of any action.
Hoping I won't get shot down too often and may be able to attract some more to the wow game and the drome website:thumbsup:

Had quite a number of games and tended to get shot down quite a bit.

The explosion card helped out a couple of times when my butt was suffering from a violent kicking. There is a God but sometimes I'm not on His side it would appear.
Lanoe Hawker Scout having given the Fokker B1 a pasting went down to the guns of the Uflag who in turn got the explosion card fron the rear gun of the Avro 504. the 504 then followed round and took out the B1

The Siemen Stuckett DIV taking on a Breugat not a good fight the ss suffered badly till the explosion card appeared and down went the Frenchman.

Invited some visitors to have a go gave them a camel and snipe againest Fokkers DVII and DVIII and yes the sods shot us down as they limped home. May have won a convert to WOW and the local club though Good result.

A very nice expose of what you chaps get up to down there in the Antipodes. It also shows where the official mats score. At shows. I would not entertain them in a game at home. They are just too garish,but for a show, the in your face logo and vibrant colours are just what is needed to draw punters in. I hope it gets you some new members. With all that hard play, you deserve it.
