Balloon Busting - Knights of the Air Mission 3b

Dear Diana,

Today we had to defend some of our ballons. The Huns decided to try and take some out to open alane trough our defense for future attacks. It was a tough fight and the Huns got one of our balloons and the last flying Hun pilot turned and escaped. I am having doubts if we will be able to stop the enemy advance.

On a upside note. There was a Hun pilot by the name of Kiefer von Loganstein that I have been encountering alot in the past missions, his luck finally ran out. He would have made Ace this mission but was shot down and captured, so things might be looking up.

This is also very good news young Alexander. Your Squadron seems to have had a good day all round, even if it does suggest that the Huns are getting far too cheeky crossing your sector of the lines far too often. Expect a visit from Trenchard and your own Wing Commander fairly soon to give you all a pep talk. In the meantime well done all of you.
