Our gaming group has decided that for WW2 using the range rules would be an important addition to our play. Limited fuel would prevent everyone from racing around at full throttle all the time.
Is anyone planning to factor in the actual range of the aircraft into their fuel calculations? For example: the Spit & the 109 were both very short range fighters, the Wildcat/Martlet had roughly twice their range and the Zero more than that.
When setting up your senarios, this could even things considerably when the 2 highest performing fighters have to keep a close eye on their fuel while their opponents have more leeway. Particularly when the short range fighters are the attackers.
