Linz,

Without knowing how the values were derived, I don't know where to start. However, for comparative values which you can map between different rule sets to give you a rough idea for WoW, try http://www.eaglesmax.com/eagles_charts.html

Moved thread to the House Rules section as it deals with user made rules/stats.

Various versons of Sopwith Strutters

Two seater K B/B 15 11 4
Single seater (Home Defence) fighter 'comic' K A 15 11 4 - if using ammo rules 2 x lewis guns (Maybe climb rate of 3 but I feel that this makes the aircrafts climb rate better than that reported).
Single seater Bomber K B 15 11 4 (Without bomb load)
K B 15 11 5 (With bomb load)
French 2 seater version (rare) K B/B 15 Armed with two lewis guns - one in normal rear postion, one mounted on the top wing (Both fired by rear ob - so only one gun can be fired at a time!)

Interesting call adding 1 to climb rate if loaded with Bombs. Would that mean that after bombing run the plane reverts to fighter and changes climb rate. What about other two seaters?
Thoughts re aircraft that have two seperate mounts MGs ( one on Fuselage and other on top of wing) If using ammo rules perhaps the option of only using one gun so being a b or even if using both as a B/B in case of jammed guns then only one gun is jammed

Actually, that's an interesting idea...but would require a bit of extra bookkeeping

We could use the Green Jammed guns symbol for only one gun and the red symbol for both. This could apply for all twin mg planes. So we firing a second time a A would then become a B. just a thought.

The French produced a large number of strutters and like there British counterparts, some front line units made field modifications. One mod was made by replacing the pilot operated Vickers machine gun with a top wing mounted lewis machine gun. Only one gun at a time could be fired as they could only be operated from the observers position. This mod was not used a great deal, so can be classed as a rare encounter.

So the stats for this mod should be K B 15 with both front and rear firing arcs.
