Hello again mum,
Since I last wrote you the action has died down considerably. An unexpected blizzard has hit us. We have been stuck in the barracks for almost two weeks now with no flying to speak of. Along with ths a bit of a bug has been running rampant among us as well and many of the men are in the infirmary. I am going stir crazy, my only enjoyment is watching a snow hare that has taken up residence in our stack of firewood. Although I'm sure the chaps in the trenches have it worse, fighting this is a war in itself. Hope all is well at home.
Love your son,
Alec Sanders
