To all you scratchbuilders, could I ask, what do you use as those variable altitude bits on the bases? Or could I ask you to point me at a similar thread? And is there any hope of a blank base and set of them going into the shop, seeing as there are printed ones available?
That's all. Ta.

ah. that is in fact exactly what i was on about. i thought they were already printed with a certain plane's stats though. do they include the disassemblable rods that will actually physicall increase the altitude though? Sorry about my poor wording.

I hope so. I'm going to be needing a good half dozen in the not-too-distant future.

Laurence!

You do not need the detailed info on each base. The plane card has all the detailed info. All a stand needs is the firing arcs. There are posts by people who have made detailed basses, but that limits their use to one plane. I have close to 300 144 scale planes but only 40 of the Litko bases and a few of the A.A. bases. I attached some shots of my last game. The bomber bases are CD cases with a Litko topper glued in the center. The cards are by Max Headroom and are in the files section. I am also added a photo of one of Carl`s 1:200 planes on one of his detailed basses! He did a great job on them and his planes.:)
