I don't know if anyone has posted this site before, but came across an interesting project for the WW II scratch builders. Check out the German "stealth" prototype at http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1198112/Sleek-swift-deadly--Hitlers-stealth-bomber-turned-tide-Britain.html It's a very interesting article!

I'm actually facebook friends with one of the guys who helped with that project. Here's the link to the National Geographic Channel episode (http://channel.nationalgeographic.com/episode/hitler-s-stealth-fighter-3942/Overview).

Boggles the mind how you can spend $250k and not have it fly!!! LOL

Nice looking plane though.

I think alone building the original engines from scratch would easily go above $250K. This way you at least have a nice smooth surface to look on and not just an unfinished pile of metal :-p

It must have been an interesting documentary judging from the extracts. I don't suppose that they will go on to construct a flying model?
