Pretty Cool Tom... You never see stuff like this on the Discovery Channel anymore...

You do realize you are going to end up getting me hooked on DoW as well... and then I am going sell what's left of my body to science to support my habit!

Great idea, sell myself to science and get more planes. Thanks I'm on it.

Now the thing I like about Dawn of War is the fast reaction time. You always have to be thinking 2 steps a head. It is more of a turning game but I think it catches the real feeling of WW2 dog-fighting.

That was very interesting.

Do you know what year it was made? They gave much credit for winning the Battle of Britain to radar, but didn't even mention the enigma code breakers.

I notice that each story I read or view they always grab on to one aspect of it. I didn't see a date just stumbled on it on youtube.

I do as well. The real thanks should go to youtube and the people that put them on as well as the brave men and women in the tapes.

Come to think of it, the Hurricane is probably the aircraft which was used on all possible fronts, and the allied and axis. There are users who use them:
RAF, RCAF, RAAF, Finland, Romania, Russia, Belgium, Yugoslavia. And many others.
Somewhere I saw a picture of German camouflage.

There are a few pictures of "Nazi" Hurricanes - every of them was captured. And I find two pictures of Japanese Hurrican - they are really rare.

Hurricane Mk.I, JG 51, This aircraft used in Winter 1940-1941. It carried RAF fighter markings used from November 1940.
Hurricane Mk.I, serial: DF+GC; This aircraft was captured by Germans at Mervile, 1940.
Hurricane Mk.I, I/JFS 2, serial: DG+SC; Zerbst, Germany, circa 1941.
Hurricane Mk.I/Trop, serial: V7670; This aircraft was captured by Germans in North Africa in 1941.
Hurricane Mk.IIc/Trop "Empire Quill", serial: BP176; This aircraft was captured by Germans in Egypt in 1942.
Hurricane Mk.PR.I/Trop, ex 208(AC) Sqn. RAF, serial: T9536; Canadian built aircraft. It was captured by Germans near LG.134, Sollum on 18th October 1941. Later it was recaptured by Allies. Rotol propeller.
Hurricane Mk.I; Ex-ML KNIL (Netherlands) fighter, Java, 1942.
Hurricane Mk.IIb, 64th sentai; Chiang Mai, March 1942. This aircraft was captured at в Malaya. Camouflage scheme: Dark Green/Sky Blue. Note: Red arrow of 64th sentai has White border. National markings painted on the upper and lower wing and both fuselage sides.
