Wings of Prague 2019 & 2020 - The Badges

Last Year I missed an opportunity to order badges, so there is a chance to correct this. Are there enough takers for 2019 or 2020? Please, tell me if you want the first, the second or both. Deadline is 31/1/2020 and I need at least 15 takers (because minumum order is 25 per type and I do not want to risk more than 10 spare). One costs 200CZK ≐ £6.70.

Sorry Dan but the answer is no much as I would really love to attend. I'm not fit enough to do the journey I' afraid. Can you post them to me or better still give them to somebody to bring back to collect at Doncaster. I live near enough to there to use the wife'e mobility scooter if I have no other transport! Or you could bring them to Doncaster yourself.:cry::cry::cry::brickwal::salute:

You will be missed, Reg, believe me. It is fine you are from Yorkshire so at least Doncaster is not absolutely impossible. Hope I will compare my skills with yours there again (nothing sure, yet, still counting Family Points and if I would have them enough, I want to come [Kubajs also wants, by the way]).

In general for "overseas": There are several possibilities how to get your badges on your shirt...

...Reg's way - ask an fellow member (Tim, Paul, Kubajs, me etc.) to take them from Prague to UK - no additional costs.
...send them by post (yeah, the one who brings you postcards, do you remember them?). In that case I will put badges into bubble foil envelope and send it directly to you. I guess this will be the possibility for US and Canada mostly. I will ask you about sending the money after dispatch of your letters to let me calculate the final postage. I do not expect much - it will be a letter under 100 g.

* Hotel Mars has no room available for 23/4-26/4, might try the Hotel Eden which has rooms available for these dates, nearby, but twice the price :hmm:
* find a co-driver (there's a possible candidate, but not sure yet) or come by plane ... decisions, decisions ...

I'll definitely come to Doncaster (ferries and hotel already booked), but without Lex.
So if I can't make it to Prague you can bring the badges I ordered to Doncaster, or ... if you're not coming to Doncaster send them to me by snail-mail.

Let's wait and see how things turn out ...

I found Hotel Mars full on 4 booking sites, including booking.com, then got a room on lastminute.com,......................amazing how a hotel can be "full" on site after site, then available on another one.

I'm also happy to bring Prague badges back to the U.K.

I think Hotel Mars has different numbers of rooms for different companies.

So it‘s no wonder that the rooms are gone on some booking sites.

I can recommend Botel Racek. :thumbsup:

Reaction required: As you know, we are keeping Wings of Prague event alive, just postponed to October. I see many of you had to cancel your attendance, so I need to know what you plan with you preordered badges.
Both sets were paid from our con reserves with no added value.

Yes, I can and I will do it. Paypal would be nice, I'll send you details in PM too. Good these badges are so tiny, postage would be OK (at least I hope so).
It will be a big upgrade to our family - we have just small and old Škoda Fabia now, so some extra space for a baby-carriage or tiny bicycle would be nice :thumbsup:
