I've just had an email from Skytrex, who confirmed that their 'Short' will be the bomber not the 184. I can stop scratch building mine now :(

Top marks for Skytex for also promptly replacing incorrect parts for one of their models.

I'll also be out of country for the next couple of days, so won't be showing up on the forum during that time. Can someone else keep the WingCo in check please? :p

Have a nice trip, Steve.

So the Rob's "Hot Gossip" issue is resolved.

I think a series of Minis of only seaplanes would not be a bad idea. Something like:

an Albatros W.IV or a Hansa-Brandenburg KDW or a Rumpler-6B;
a SPAD S.XIV or a Hanriot HD-2;
a Hansa-Brandenburg W.12 (or W.29) or a Friedrichshafen FF.33 or a flying boat like Hansa-Brandenburg CC;
a Short 166 or a flying boat like Macchi M serie, Curtis or AD

New aces, new missions,...

I'm off to Portugal so I'll send you a Portuguese instead of a czech.

I'm off to a buryin', but thanks all for the good wishes, one and each. Time to kick the tyres and light the fires. Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast (Sunday).

Sorry for the circumstances, but hope it is as enjoyable as can be. See you when you get back, of course any passable signorita and or vino will be completely acceptable :) Purely for Educational purposes and in the interests of Entente cordiale of course

Safe journey Steve! I know that you have already kicked the tires and lit the fires... but those kind of wishes have a way of transcending the digital world that is the "drome!

Now I wonder where I can get one of those these days for a reasonable price? Opens up a whole new ball game.
