Henry Tabor was a wireless operator "whose job was to take communications from the squadron’s aeroplanes and inform the artillery batteries he was attached to, where to aim."

An interesting home page about the history of wireless communication in WWI between aircraft and artillery plus his diary.

It depends on what you ate in the celebrations! ;)

I was very happy to find this web site because I was a self-propelled artillery officer assigned to radio comunication during my military service. It was really interesting to read the first steps of radio communications between the observers and the artillery batteries.
