Well, I played my first 2 quick-rules games yesterday.
Being a WoG vet, those rules were a snap to pick up. I'll probably get a complete rules game or two in at Origins.
My first impressions:
The components are good to excellent; the only downside is that the maneuver cards are a bit thin, and I can't think of a good way to sleeve them.
There aren't enough damage counters in the starter set, though. Not to bad for a 2 on 2, but with bigger games (as will be inevitable) not enough.
I wonder if Keith can get permission to make some in plastic?

Game play is smooth, and the firing/damage system is rather good. Sorry, Phillip, but the dice work for this game ;)

I was lost during my first game - needed to think in physics way and try to keep rules about moving, rotating and kinetic energy. I'll probably need more missions to learn it :)

Ah, thanks. Can't seem to find a supplier in the States, but I'll look for something similar.
