Well shoot. I was going to give the game a skip and now I’ll have to give it a serious look. Bummer about the blah scenerios though.

Me too, I was going to pass or at most just wait and see. I do like the BSG universe in spite of the direction the series took. But I picked my copy of the starter kit. I haven't played a game yet but I'm glad I did.

I tried to watch the new series and just couldn’t stand it when it came out. So that was part of my thought process as well as the possibility of the exact same model being produced over and over with nothing more than new pilot and ability cards. But man the game play sounds cool. Like B5 space combat, which was, as far as I can remember, the first show to have “realistic” looking combat.

Edit: But I’m not buying Battlestar of Glory until my Tripods of Glory pledge comes in!

The reimagined Battlestar Galactica up though Season 2.5 was simply wonderful and dark. What a ride. I wish they would take season 2.5 and insert the episodes into seasons 1 and 2 in their proper order though. It would make them even more dramatic. After season 3 things got weird and, IMHO, the writers just threw stuff out there; some good but alot bad.

I started watching the series a month ago on Showmax. Now it's 13/2nd season. So far so very good. It made me to buy the starter set - waiting for delivery.:)

Well, that guy doesn't seem too enthusiastic about BSG.

As a side note, my local group is all over BSG. Our stalled WGF campaign has been, even more, pushed aside for this new game. Will we get back to WGF? That remains to be seen. New BSG ships will be out in March, according to the Area website.

If the Tripods show up before then (Feb?), perhaps a biplane might get on the table before the next wave of BSG ships.

Well I for one will be giving a miss personal choise I am not saying the game is bad, its just I still like ARES WW1 and would rather play that!
