Today, the Comox Air Force Museum supports Camp Boomer with the first Open Cockpit Day we've ever held.

As part of the displays, we had one of the replica Nieuport 11 (7/8th scale) aircraft available.

I didn't get the final numbers, but the staff seemed to be really happy with the day. It seems we will be doing this again, as early as August. We will need more volunteers, as one per plane, and a floater was nowhere near enough when we get 'large' groups.

Sort of like Wings of Glory demos, you need one demo host, one coach, and one hawker, we would need one person assisting people in/out of the cockpits, one (at least) answering questions, and a couple floaters (especially if it is a hot day, like this Saturday).
