These all sounded like someone had stick a piece of stiff paper into the moving blades of a house fan :p Actually, was still nice to see. I like the rotary engine Spark" put on...okay here we go...no wait, we're going backwards...okay now we're going...ooops, not yet...okay...

Looked like that sucker was going forwards and backwards at once

The drips at the end of Kyte's where a nice touch to the vid

...Thanks Guys!

Very cool indeed! I just wish the quality of the sound recordings wouldnt be that mixed. I guess both the mp3-compression youtube and the built in microphones of the camcorders don't really do justice to the engines.

Those were all awesome... but there was just something about the particular sound of that SE.5a that I absolutely love... If I could find a good clean MP3 of that engine starting up and running, I would use it as my windows startup sound! :D

Nice collection of sounds!

If you are willing to pay for a cd of aircraft sounds, I recommend aircraftrecords.com. I've bought several products from them and have never been disappointed.
