English Channel, 10 July, 1940: With reconnaissance flights reporting heavy convoy activity in the Channel, the Luftwaffe launched a raid by 26 Dornier Do-17Z bombers of I./KG2 escorted by Messerschmitt Bf-110C twin-engine fighters of I./ZG.76 and Messerschmitt Bf-109Es of III./JG51. Given early warning by radar, Fighter Command scrambled four squadrons to intercept. As it approached the target convoy codenamed ‘Bread’, the Luftwaffe formation was intercepted by RAF fighters.

This WGS historical scenario designed for 6 players and requires four Hawker Hurricane Mk.Is, two Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Is and two Messerschmitt Bf-109Es from the Ares Battle of Britain squadron packs, two Messerschmitt Bf-110Cs from Ares Series 4 and three Heinkel He-111H-3s from the Ares Medium Bomber special packs.

I have been posting WGF historical scenarios for a while now but with the long awaited release of the Battle of Britain Starter and squadron packs I thought I would rustle up some WGS missions for those who want to test their mettle in an historical context.

Another very enjoyable read, can't wait to get this scenario on the table (albeit with fewer aircraft). Are there more BOB scenarios in the making?

Looks good, Carl. Saved for future use. (i.e. when my WGS planes actually leave their shrink-wrap)

You must have more hours in a day Down Under - I really don't know how you find the time for all you get done!
;)

There will be more Battle of Britain missions, but unfortunately there are no more hours in the day here than anywhere else ;)

I have been busy with other projects but I will get back to scenario generation soon

Thanks for working this mission up, Carl.

Must put "Luftflotte Helmut" on to it at some point!
