How many Nieuports were built?

I need some help. I working on a list of WW1 aircraft production. I am missing information on Nieuport production. The only info I have is there were 7,200 Nieuport aircraft built, but what was the type breakdown. Even approximations would be helpful. Thanks for any assistance.

I've got a figure of 310 Nieuport 28s from a French source. However, the same source says numbers constructed of 17s and 27s is unknown.

From the Cross & Cockade 'Nieuports in RFC/RNAS/RAF service' a quick tot up gives the following numbers of Nieuports in British service (give or take), not including a few odds and ends such as a couple of triplanes and floatplanes etc:

Nieuport VI seaplane - 12
Nieuport 10 - 38
Nieuport 11 - 21
Nieuport 12 - 72
Nieuport 12bis - 11
Nieuport 12 (British built) - 90
Nieuport 16.C1 - 28
Nieuport 17 - 76
Nieuport 17bis - 80
Nieuport 20.C2 - 25
Nieuport 23 - 234
Nieuport 23bis - 17
Nieuport 24 - 6
Nieuport 27 - 74

John - no production numbers but I have refs that say 'some 297 Nieuport 28s were delivered to the AEF' - also 'Nieuport 17s were used by AEF for training & 75 were purchased for this purpose,' and
'527 Nieuports, mostly 17s, were supplied to RAF/RFC but full french production figures were not properly recorded'.
Plus the 17 was built by a company in Italy & 3 companies in Russia.
You may have your work cut out with this project - even they don't know how many they built !

'527 Nieuports, mostly 17s, were supplied to RAF/RFC but full french production figures were not properly recorded'.
Plus the 17 was built by a company in Italy & 3 companies in Russia.
You may have your work cut out with this project - even they don't know how many they built !
I'd say slightly more than Nexus have.:D:D:D

I'll keep on researching. As far as Nieuports being built I am thinking that
the 17 would have been the most numerous Nieuport built followed by the 11 then it looks real close between the 21, 27, 10, and 24 in that order. Thank you for your time. John
