HI all, Its only just hit me that the sculpt we have for the Yak-1 has the cutdown fuselage behind the canopy.. I'm sure this has been covered here on the forum here before, but whenever I search for Yak-1 in the search bar I get zero results.

Has this discussion been had?
Cheers all

Late model Yak1 were built to 1b standards. 1b was an unofficial designation. Only 2 1ms were constructed.

Yep. I guess its just strange to me that Ares has not named the mini the 1B, given that it is so different to the standard 1 version, and that so many of the standard were built.
The wiki page states that 8700 Yak 1's were built, 2 being the M model, 4188 being the B model, leaving a potential 4510 being that original model?

I'd suspect it's like the difference between Razorback and Bubbletop P-47D's. If memory serves, the cut-down bubbletop was introduced mid-production in the D-25 block...
