NOTE: Where a slot has 2 spaces disregard the split cell should be 1 space not 2.
4 attendees have given no preferences for game slots, yet.
1 attendee has only given 2 game slot choices.
11 members still to confirm attendance.
So where games look devoid of players they will fill up.

A little more info on each game:
WW1
Combat Patrol:
That early morning, or any time of the day really, combat for control of the skies.
Photo Recon:
2 seaters head out to photograph targets and try not to be shot down in the process. (2 seater mayhem similar).
Bomb the target:
Once those photo's have been developed it's back out to bomb them and rack up more points.
Spare parts required:
Combat in the air with a naval twist.
WW2
Battle of Britain:
Opposing squadrons fight it out as the Germans try to bomb London and the RAF try to stop them amid the chaos of the Battle of Britain. All early war stuff I believe.
Sino-Japanese War becomes Coral Sea!:
Apologies for the change of venue so to speak. The US carrier aircraft have to try and sink the IJN Ryuju and escorting destroyer before they can get off the table. All in 1/200 scale. (simplified altitude, torpedoes, dive bombers and did I mention float planes...slipped that one in for fun).
Beaufighter:
Lots of action involving Beaufighters. Sworn to secrecy with this one but it will be a doozie!
Lancaster Raid:
Lancasters escorted by Spitfire IX's (and possibly a mosquito or 2?) try to bomb Germany as the Luftwaffe flying FW190's, ME109K's, ME 262's etc try to stop them.
Sails of Glory:
Fleet Action: 2 opposing fleets slug it out for control of the seas. (Standard rules)
Pirates: Some old favourites on the table, The Black Pearl et al contest treasure, boarding and lots of Arghhhhhh m'hearties to boot. (Standard rules)
Frigate Racing: Around the ragged rocks the gallant Frigates raced. Who will win, will dirty tricks and back stabbing come to the fore. Standard rules)
Mystery Fleets: A blind draw not only for ships but Captain and crew skills not to mention what side your on. (Advanced rules).
Ace of Aces:
Same as last year. Eveyone attending, one table, random sides and opposition (pilots).

Table 2 for all the Sat games if you please, Neil.
Beaufighters game details will be posted tomorrow.
8 players is a perfect number (5/3) [more may be welcome if interested], although less (like 6-7) may be quite all right too.
The game's title is " The Black Friday", for those who may be interested;).

BLACK FRIDAY the Beaufighters' game.
With this scenario we are going to recreate the attack on Z-33 German destroyer that took place on 9 Feb 1945.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Friday_(1945)
Not intending to reveal the details of the scenario, here is what you will get:
1. Beaus plus P-51s as escorts are tasked to find the Z-33 and destroy it.
2. German Fw-190 interceptors are somewhere there on lookout.
3. Z-33 and an accompanying z-boat are to be found and destroyed.
4. Waypoints and spotters/or/snipers abilities will have to be assigned by the teams before the mission starts as well as altitude.
5. The first to spot the enemy, the first to attack.
6. Flights are restricted: Beaus are tasked to hit the vessels only. P-51s provide protection. Beaus have to find the vessels, destroy them and make for home.
7. Explosions: houseruled. Beaus hit or miss: zero counters return to appropriate bags.
6-10 players are welcome.
Andy I have a couple of Z models in 1:700th scale if you need them.
Reg are you only playing 1 game?
No, put me down for the Photo Recon and the B17's please.
Thanks Neil

Hi Neil,
At the moment I have no idea what the Biggles ladies will want to play, although Amy tends to be exclusively WW1.
Hannah might want to be with BoB, or any game she can fly her Roland in.
SWMBO is WW1 or Sails.
I am possibly in danger of Sails, being drawn to things Piratical, Beaufighters sounds fun, and I would like to be on Dawn Patrol unless someone needs help with BoB.
I will try to get clarification from the ladies later today.

Hi Neil
As small numbers for sails so far...:(
If Chris runs game 1 - please put me down for BoB
If Ensign Patch runs the pirates game 2 - Chris can get to play on a table
and if no takers for sails games 3 & 4 - perhaps we can join in other tables?
or
Perhaps I can have a go at trying to blow Chris out of the water for a change!
Well there has to be a first time for everything...doesn't there?:hmm:
Flexibility as always...

If Tim can run the final WW1 game of the day - I would love to take part in the Lancaster raid... (space permitting)
and would love some Sails on Sunday afternoon
I can supply a few things for Friday night (depending on table sizes at the St. Leger) Carcassonne, Zombiecide, Escape from Colditz, Kingmaker, etc etc... or even a few planes, lol

I've probably missed something in translation (remember I am a Southerner) but is Friday evening just at the pub not at the Museum?
Where is the Pub?
What time Saturday morning at the Museum; remember I am running an early game?
Where is the Restaurant for Saturday evening?
Lt. S.Kafloc

We are hoping to get in for 0830 Saturday Reg. Pub for Friday is the St Ledger where most if not all travellers are staying .
The Sat evening meal is the pub attached to the Premier Inn about 5 minutes walk up the road from the museum. Doncaster East? Or West? I'm sure Chris will keep me right.

Sorry, have to announce my withdrawal from Doncaster, I have double booked a trip to London with Mrs B. Much marital disharmony would ensue if I were to DNA. Quite how I managed to do this I am not sure and my sincere apologies to all.

Table 1 - Photo Recon - Bomb the Target - Parts Urgently Required
If any of them are full I'm happy to play on any table.
I will be making the meal, do I have to contact them and book it? I'm not sure what the process is.
Unfortunately I can only make Saturday now as I'm going to the Derby Wargames on the Sunday with my Grandaughter.

Excellent idea, Chris!
Carcassonne is the one I know well.
Kingmaker - would be sweet, however I played a computer version only years ago.:)
The number of potential players is the key question, however. Most of the game are up to 5...
Pssst! What I dream about is to test you chaps in X-Wing which scales quite fine up to 8 players (tested) in a typical clash between X/W vs T/F, but a table over 90*90 cm is necessary and --- I am not sure if you are ready for such an experience, knowing the hated dice issue;).

When other possible boardgames are taken into consideration, please bear in mind this one ;), "Rebellion", that my buddy Darek (Empire) and me (Rebel) have just started yesterday.
After 5 turns there are only 3 systems left that actively support the Rebellion (Bothawui, Toydaria and Nal Hutta).
204813
Han Solo has been captured by the Imperials and carbonized on Mustafar. A rescue mission carried out by young Skylwaker failed...
204814
But a major rebel pincer operation is about to begin with reinforced fleet starting in Bothawui and a the major force launching from our hidden base on Geonosis (yes!). The Imperial forces in Naboo and Sullust systems are weak and will be subject to some sabotage missions..

I'm going to pm all the games organisers to plan for 8+1 ie 8 players and 1 playing organiser. With those yet to pick some if not all the spare slots will be taken.
It's the best I can do without the 5 telling me which games they want to take part in. So for the remaining slots it's first come first served. Sort the rest out on the day.

All right chaps.
Those who have signed for the Beaufighters Game (and all otheres interested of course:)) may get the rules of engagement early before Donnie:
Below is a link to a downloadable mission sheet in .pdf from my digi-loud.
Do not be put off by the one die used in preliminary phase (suspense) and the rules, I promise to follow them:).
The rules have been changed slightly after playtesting, so it is version 1.2.
Any questions are welcome.

So far no word off 4 and the fifth has put himself down for 2 , games only. To make this fair for organisers tables will max out at 8+1 organiser.
The few who have not put names to slots will just have to fill in when and where on the day.

So far the players for the Raid on Hamburg are as follows
RAF/USAF
Lancs . Hedeby and Rebel 2 planes each.
Lufwaffe
Places full
Nightbomber Guntruck and Skafloc. 2 planes each
So Deadly M and Hawkhurst have the choice of 3 planes each Allied fighter cover. Thats Spits IX and P 51s
unless someone desperately wants to play the B17 it will be retired from the roster as of today.

Chris, do you have any sea like mats that you could bring? I do not have in mind the SoG mats which are so to say SoG oriented, but just a plain dark blue, grey or similar?
I own a custom one, but not sure if I can fold it into my cabin luggage (probably will succeed anyway).
Hi Andy, I have a blue table covering I now normally used for my sails games.
If you need I can liaise with Simon to replace my sea with his covering, this will leave it for you to use.

Just as an intro for my game:
Coral sea 1/200 scale
During the attack in the Coral Sea one of the smaller Japanese carriers suffered engine failure and was unable to take part in the failed attack. Admiral Yamamoto, not wanting to lose another carrier, dispatched the destroyer IJN Inedikazi to find the IJN Nosho.
The destroyer has been spotted by the air group from the USS Yorktown and they proceed to follow the ship, hoping it would lead them to the fleeing Japanese fleet.
US Players (5 max)
Your task is to sink any Japanese ships in the area.
The SBD dive bombers are equipped with 3 bombs each.
The TBD bombers may have 3 bombs or 1 torpedo each.
Japanese Players (3 max):
You are flying aircraft from IJN Nosho, you must protect all Japanese ships in the area.
As a teaser for my game - going to play with a few additional rule tweaks as we all know what we are doing....
Have created a special console for use on the day...

I think there are more than enough Zeps floating about - we had a pop at three of them at Doncaster in 2014... just to confirm we have the room until 7:00pm on the Saturday so no rush to finish and on Friday night they will leave the keys with one of the campers so we can get in to set up early doors - so who is camping? I assume John Biggles and crew are?

For those undecided about their fourth game:
somewhere in the Adriatic, a U boat is tracking a small group of merchantmen. It must surface and attack with the deck gun to sink its prey.
The British Royal Navy have a small presence nearby, comprising surface craft, an airship and some seaplanes.
The Italians also have aircraft in the vicinity.
The Austro-Hungarian air forces are on hand should the U boat need assistance.
Pilots are therefore required to fly Short 184s, Phonix D1s, an Ufag or two, the occasional Macchi M5 etc.

Hi Paul,
I'm bringing a couple of 190s and Spit IXs.
On a similar note, does anyone have a couple of Macchi M5s or other Italian or British sea planes I could borrow, just in case I get a full table?
FO Kyte has offered to fly a Felixstowe over, and only the one is really needed I think, but if someone wants to join in with another I won't turn them away :guns::crash:

any chance of light blue like the T shirts...?
ditto Rob - How much?

Only three colours at the moment - the desert (ish) one I have, a darker brown and slate grey.
Cost on his website is £35, but I can definitely get them at £30, maybe less if there were enough ordered, probably down to £27-28.
He can do custom jobs as well - in fact they can put any image you like the bags just need the picture.
Had this one done as a test but really pleased with the final outcome, hence thought I would see if anyone else wanted them - its something a bit different and of course we all need our 'man bags' in these enlightened metro sexual days lol...
People can take a look Fri/Sat and if they want one, there is no issue with the finished article being available to take home on the Sunday...
Going to see if I can get one done at 'mates rates' and have it as a prize for one of the games...
