Somewhere near the Western Front in the spring of 1916, this pilot reminds himself that even if he's not seeing the glory Fokker eindecker pilots do, at least he's flying a good, solid Bavarian aircraft. Yes, the fuselage decals are homebrew - my first success with such, after several disasters using Inkjet. These were done on my work's Laser printer, once everyone else had nipped off home!
The numerals are a bit "fuzzy" from the resizing when viewed close-up with a camera, but look just fine to the naked eye.

The prototype wire-spoked wheels are almost finished...................................
