These are two home-made Macchi MC205V Veltro.
These italian fighters were fast and maneuverable, well armed.
MC205V have is maiden flight in April 1942 and it become operative in
February '43.
Talking with Andrea Angiolino about this plane, he said me that this
fighter reach 640Km/h.The deck A is not created for this speed,
Spitfire was slower.
That is why I decided to put the red dot ahead and the shooting angle
is 90 degrees.

General characteristics
* Maximum speed: 640 km/h (345 knots, 400 mph) at 7,500 m (24,600 ft)
* Range: 950 km (515 nm, 590 mi)
* Service ceiling 11,500 m (37,730 ft)
* Wing loading: 202.9 kg/m² (41.55 lb/ft²)

Armament
* Guns:
o 2× 12.7 mm Breda-SAFAT machine guns, 400 rounds/gun, in the nose
o 2× 20 mm MG 151 cannon, 250 rounds/gun, in the wings
* Bombs: 2× 160 kg bombs

I placed the red dot ahead to simulate the agility of the plane. So
it's easier for him to shot and tail (and it's more difficult tail the MC205V Veltro).

Very nice work, Luciano! Putting the red dot further forward seems like a good solution for simulating the agility.

:Great work! Are the planes from Il-2 1946? I've collaborated several times to make custom cards with captured images from that flight sim. It's a cool way to make pretty custom cards.
Besides, the Italian "5 series" fighters are the top WW2 design in Italy and were superb. I was planning a "what if" mission with Firebrand TF's vs RM Aquila carrier. The Veltros can be great rivals, too:)
