Sorry for the site being down the last couple of days guys. The host screwed something up and I've been hounding them to get it fix. I'm looking for a new host and at several upgrade options, so things should get better in the coming weeks.

Thanks,

The Col.

:DGreat to be back on line. One does not appreciate something till it is lost.
Now pahaps all these nurotic pilots will stop E-mailing me with the latest update on the fact that the site is still down every thirty seconds.
Seriously chaps it was a pleasure to be able to tell you that I was in the same boat as the rest of you. There some things that even rank cannot solve.

Nowt to be sorry about Attilio. You will soon get used to my tongue in cheek sense of humour. As for the bar you need to, do the same as I have and get yourself a hip flask for these little emergencies. It also comes in handy on those cold mornings at 18,000 feet.

I have a hip flask too. But two day are really an eternity!

But you forget the serious chats and/or the silly antics of our chaps around a table! :)

I have been sighted in this! I've been chosen as avatar a two-seater. If Officer's Club is closed I can speak with my observer during a flight! :D

It's great to have the Aerodrome back, and all intact too it seems. Those night bombers can really throw a wrench into daily activities.

Amazing how linked we all are by the Internet -- and how much we miss the things we usually take for granted in this electronic age. Glad things worked out and the Aerodrome is operational again!

And I echo Ed's statement -- it's not the black outs during the raid that are so bad on one's nerves. But, having the BAR CLOSED is really terrifying!

Cheers -- and a round on me!
