Pre Doncaster sortie Chez Hedeby

Andy( Nightbomber) and I had the good fortune to be invited to Chris (Hedeby) little oasis of gaming in Doncaster.
It has all a gamer could dream of . Plenty of space, its warm, as was the greetings from other gamers and it has a kitchen where the members cook such delights as Beef Curry, rice and popadoms for a very reasonsable fee.

Anyway We stared out on a simple \scout action Myself , Andy, Chris and a couple of his friends, one being a first time WoW player. It was a brief encounter, my Spad getting a double boom on its first attack from the newcomer :cry:
Chris was keen to play test his game for the following day so we agrred to cut short the first outing and concentrate on his creation.
It was and has the potential to be a classic OTT scenario and pre plying certainly ironed out a fewbugs in the system.
My thanks to Chris, not only for inviting us down there but to chaufering us about the maze that is Doncaster. only sorry we didnt take some photos of the game, or maybe Andy did, along with the shot of him next to an Imperial Stormtrooper. :)

It was a pretty cool place Barnaby. Lots of 40K stuff see photos but room and tables upstairs for 30+ Magic and other card games to take place. And a budding WoW section. That and you can take beer in is to my mind a dream come true.

Bang's a fun game, esp. for cons when you have a couple hours to kill between WoG games, or late night wind downs.
Comes in a few alternative versions too; samurai, zombies, that I know of.

Thanks for the photo's guys and thank you for test flying my two seater game - the final tweaks made all the difference come Saturday (double boom !!! how bloody unlucky is that)

Its a card game, started in the States about 20yrs ago and went viral ,still have loads of decks, as do my kids (33 and 36 ) who no doubt will be teaching their kids (3 and5).
