Looking good. Is that an official Staaken or a Shapeways or?
Thats what I like to see a Bristol in on the action, just the job for bomber hunting....

But what was the outcome?
The Gotha died very quickly when a lucky shot hit his bombs. I think Zoe,s Shapeways Staaken made it to the target but did not live to return to his base. :surrender:

Nothing you can do about lucky shots, I suppose. How many did the Zeppelin-Staaken take with it?
Love these shots - and that Hotzmats trench mat is splendid. Looks like fun was had by all!
All the best,
Matt

After the demise of the Gotha, it seems that things were really stacken up against the Germans then.

Albatros D.II and Roland C.I initially against 2 Nieuport 11s - but when one succumbed to a Boom card on the first hit, it was replaced by a Caudron G4 in fighter configuration, with an extra topwing lewis.
And on the first card......same again, Boom.
It is the mark of a true gamer to treat the two imposters, Triumph and Disaster, just the same. I was lucky to be playing against such an opponent - and gave him an impromptu sportsmanship award, to universal acclaim.

Gotha hand it to the pilots with it all staaken up against them Rob.

Love this shot of the '16 birds, Zoe! They look great against the trenches background.
Hope you're all having a great time:)

:cheezy: Haa! There is my "fiery" Morane.
Just look at the damage cards I drew for the Fire.
Still did not stop me from being shot down however!:guns::eek:

Ha! Hope our honorable UK WingCo will see this post and learn how to handle the fire! :takecover:

My mantra is "If on fire overdive."
Never wait to see what three cards may do to your fabric.

That is truly the best tactic, Rob
Perhaps a little warmth on a chilly Canberra day was welcome, after all...
All the best,
Matt
