Ten years ago i spotted my first Dragon 144 scale WW2 German Armored train set. The box collected dust. Then i saw another one and a third. I want to display a non functioning train diorama at the Warbirds Over the Beach airshow next month. Out came the kits i added a big one and now they are done!

Thank you! I have plans to convert it to N-Scale wheel sets. I bought a Kato powered chassis for Japanese pattern trolleys, it fits in the box car. I photographed it on one of my T-Trak modules. The trucks on the Leopold do not work on that radius curve!!!

A lot of work, and hopefully, it will get the recognition it deserves at the show.

Thank you all!:thankyou: I am working on some 10mm Pendraken ground units to fill out the display. A crew came with the Leopold, but they are soft rubber. Paint does not dry on them. I am ordering a new crew for it.

Excellent idea Richard - am well impressed. Time and effort well spent.

Tell you one thing I would like to see ... A Dora Railway Gun in a manageable scale like your Leopold. The only model of the Dora I have ever come across is the 1/72 Hobby Boss version which is just jaw-droppingly colossal in size - roughly a metre in length!

:) Aussietonka :)

Here you 144 scale. Even 6mm is way to big!

Thank you! Now i need to build a new module to fit that all on. The curve does not work with that gun carriage.

I guess I will get to see this at the show. Great job. I think Hasagawa makes a model of the DORA (1/72 scale I think).
