This mission is a A BOB Generic Scenario - Fighter's Attrition Strategy Mission and it's not a solo one.
Reason? Inęs wanted to play with the Germans in a mission in the Fire in the Skies Campaign. So I've changed things a little bit. To maintain it balanced Inęs had 3 Veteran Me-109's and I played with Joachim Lisbon (Ace) and PO Barry Moruya (Standard pilot).

We used all WoG rules except altitude. I took photos of my planes damage and Inęs took the photos of hers.

The green pilot marks means the damage denied by the Evasion ability. Inęs did used them wisely. :)
So let's start, shall we?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
June 2, 1940
Dear Brother:
So many things to tell you in so little time. For a day or two I was drunk on perfume. The WAAF girl I told you about, Rose, well, we've been taking some walks together when I have a little time. I know it's not time for that kind of things but I can't take her out of my head. And I should.
Today during the morning we were sent to patrol over Dover. Not very far from the coast we were ordered to intercept three or more bogeys. I had PO Barry with me, he had just a couple of combat missions but its such a steady man. We saw them in no time. Three one-oh-nines. We intercepted them."
There is something you've got to say about these Englishmen. They're brave. We had the upper hand. But they didn't weaver. They came at us bravely. I told my men to take them down.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight03.jpg
First they seemed to come in a tight formation.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight04.jpg
That would suit us fine. They would be easy meat for our superior canons.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight05.jpg
But then they opened up in a very well rehearsed maneuver. I knew then that we had good antagonists to fight with. I said to my men, "Achtung! Machen sie keinen Fehler!" But they knew it. They were already veteran pilots of the French and Polish campaign.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight06.jpg
So two of us attacked the leader and the other one kept the second Hurricane occupied.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight07.jpg
We had the upper hand alright. The British leader managed to put himself under our guns.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight08.jpg
We hit him lightly. Our canons losing accuracy at that distance.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight09.jpg
Then he made a reverse maneuver right under our noses. "Gott!" An ace?
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight10.jpg
Gunther was luckier and made good damage against the second Hurricane. Smoke erupted from its engine.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight11.jpg
But the British payed him in kind.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight12.jpg
Then the British leader fired against me, straight from the reverse and hit my canopy wounding me. For a moment I thought it was serious, but then I saw that it was only a flesh wound.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight13.jpg
I also went for a reverse, trying to regain our advantage.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight14.jpg
Numerically inferior, they still maintained equity in the control of the field of battle. We were matched like in a chess game.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight15.jpg
And then the smoking Hurricane put himself in an excellent position to fire. Everybody at home complaining about Spitfires, Spitfires this, Spitfires that, but these Hurricanes weren't making our life easy.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight16.jpg
For our good luck, he managed to miss Reinhart.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight17.jpg
And like a great circus we all turned and maneuvered to obtain the upper hand.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight18.jpg
And Reinhart was born with the luck of the Nibelungs for the British failed to score again and this time he was very close.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight19.jpg
"Das ist gut, Reinhart!" I shouted! "Keep your luck that high!" And I've heard them both laughing.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight20.jpg
But of course, the British were now in a better position.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight21.jpg
And we all position ourselves in this mad dance of petrol, engines and machine guns. Ah! But we had canons and speed!
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight22.jpg
Reinhart faced the British leader and somehow I felt a bang in my stomach.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight23.jpg
His canon hit the wing of the Hurricane.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight24.jpg
And the Hurricane failed to hit him again. Was I wrong?! Weren't these worthy opponents? Or was Reinhart that lucky?
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight25.jpg
And then Reinhart tried to make the reverse maneuver the British had made before and fell prey to the other British pilot.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight26.jpg
And once again his luck held! I saw machine gun bullets piercing his cockpit. "Reinhart! Reinhart! Are you wounded?" "Nein, Hauptmann Rodman! Alles ist gut!"
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight27.jpg
Then something told me that our luck couldn't possibly hold and that we should retreat. But I was in the middle of a dogfight and for God sake I could not and I would not.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight28.jpg
His smoke ceased and the British became a madman firing against us and almost having us. Gunther took damage in the engine but the plane held.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight29.jpg
And while I was reversing I could see the British maintaining his aim at Gunther. "Turn right, turn right, Gunther!" I shouted.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight30.jpg
But this time the British aim was true and Gunther's me-109 engine sputtered and shrieked.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight31.jpg
And as one of the Hurricanes moved away and Gunther reversed, the other one approached.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight32.jpg
With a perfect aim, his machine guns fire connected with Gunther's plane.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight33.jpg
Then things started to go wrong. We had them on our tails, these British aces...
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight34.jpg
The British leader fired again against Gunther, making good damage.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight35.jpg
And the other pilot was glued to our tails.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight36.jpg
And he fired quickly and accurately.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight37.jpg
Gunther went down. "Jump, Gunther, jump!" I shouted. He jumped and I hoped that the British launches were near. No matter if he becomes a prisoner, after we take the Island, we'll free him.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight38.jpg
And by this time, Reinhart was returning to take vengeance.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight39.jpg
The British plane took a mighty blow of canon fire and its structure didn't resist.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight40.jpg
He did fired back, finally doing damage to Reinhart.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight41.jpg
But his plane went down like a broken leaf. We reclaimed the advantage of two to one and this time we were going to make good use of it.
"So you see, little brother, as soon as Barry made his first kill, with an amazing skill, he was taken down by those devastating twenty millimeter canons. I was now alone facing two Messerschmitts but strangely I was now calmer. Not having to worry about my men was very soothing. Below me, Barry's parachute opened and I voiced our coordinates back to base. Someone had to rescue him. He deserved that. And a new dance began."
In this Mission:
British Flight
Sqn Ldr Kinnison Lisbon - Perfect Aim + Acrobatic Pilot + Evasion - Hawker Hurricane (Ace) (5 Kills)
O Barry Moruya - Hawker Hurricane (Standard pilot) (1 Kill - 1 kill in this part of the mission)
German Flight
Hauptmann Manfred Rodman - Me-109E (Veteran)
Oberfähnrich Reinhart Brauer - Me-109E (Veteran) (1 Kill - 1 kill in this part of the mission)
Oberfähnrich Gunther Koehler - Me-109E (Veteran)
Special rules:
Angling Shots - All shots that don't enter the enemy plane in its rear arc and front arc are always converted to A chits;
All close range shots that enter the enemy's plane rear arc at close range add an A damage chit;
These rules adds to the extra A damage chit for continuous fire (i.e. firing against the same enemy plane for consecutive turns).
Example: A ki-43 is firing for the second consecutive time against a P-40 in the P-40 rear arc at close range. It would make AAB damage.
Ace Trigger Free - Aces are the only pilots that can fire during a reverse maneuver.
Universal Diceless Solo Chart - From now on I'll use this chart for WW2 combat. But not in this mission!!

And while I was reversing I could see the British maintaining his aim at Gunther. "Turn right, turn right, Gunther!" I shouted.

But this time the British aim was true and Gunther's me-109 engine sputtered and shrieked.

And as one of the Hurricanes moved away and Gunther reversed, the other one approached.

With a perfect aim, his machine guns fire connected with Gunther's plane.

Then things started to go wrong. We had them on our tails, these British aces...
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight34.jpg
The British leader fired again against Gunther, making good damage.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight35.jpg
And the other pilot was glued to our tails.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight36.jpg
And he fired quickly and accurately.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight37.jpg
Gunther went down. "Jump, Gunther, jump!" I shouted. He jumped and I hoped that the British launches were near. No matter if he becomes a prisoner, after we take the Island, we'll free him.

And by this time, Reinhart was returning to take vengeance.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight39.jpg
The British plane took a mighty blow of canon fire and its structure didn't resist.
http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i395/Bayushiseni/WW2%20Mega%20Campaign/Battle%20of%20Britain/Scenario%203%20-%20Simply%20a%20Dogfight/SimplyaDogfight40.jpg
He did fired back, finally doing damage to Reinhart.

Angling Shots - All shots that don't enter the enemy plane in its rear arc and front arc are always converted to A chits;
All close range shots that enter the enemy's plane rear arc at close range add an A damage chit;
